It began with real guest questions
North Wales Finder was created by the team behind Caravan Holidays North Wales. Our guests kept asking practical questions: where can the dog come, what works with children, what can we do for free, where should we eat and what will still work if the weather changes?
A long list of attractions does not fully answer those questions. Visitors need a helpful starting point shaped around their location, group, budget and circumstances. That is the job North Wales Finder is being built to do.
A useful day, not an overwhelming directory
Start with one of twelve ready-made days around Rhyl and Prestatyn, or use the matcher to describe what today needs. Families can look for rainy-day options, dog owners can begin with suitable walks and couples can find a slower coast-and-food day. Free ideas sit alongside bookable experiences, rather than being hidden behind them.
Every plan is a starting point. Opening times, prices, weather, tides, accessibility and dog restrictions can change, so essential details should always be confirmed with the official source before travelling.
Visitors and local businesses should strengthen each other
When a visitor finds the right café, attraction, shop or service at the right moment, the visitor has a better day and the business reaches someone already looking for what it offers. That is more useful than competing for attention in a generic list.
Our founding network is now opening. Businesses can apply for a free verified listing, explain who they suit and keep their details accurate. As the network grows, the platform can build richer days while giving participating businesses clearer evidence of genuine visitor interest.
